 East Africa Women Business Leaders Conterence

Dear Sir/Madam,

Africa Point and AITEC Kenya the continents leading  events organiser welcomes East Africa  women business leaders to attend a two day Women in business conference and exhibition to be held from the 13-14 October 2005 at the Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi.

The overall objective of the Women in Business Conference is to celebrate the contribution of women in national life through business enterprises. In addition, other Summit objectives are as follows:

• To provide East Africa Women Business Leaders with forum for information sharing and networking.

• To promote innovation and creativity, role modeling and mentoring in entrepreneurship among Women.

• To reward national achievements in business entrepreneurship initiatives for women through the excellence awards to outstanding corporate, community development sector and micro-credit agencies providing job creation and business opportunities for the Women.

• To sensitize Young East Africa  Women on benefits of a positive towards self -reliance and economic independence

• To strengthen the relationship between Women business entrepreneurs and credit providers with the hope of increasing credit for investments for the businesses owned by women.

Participants

The East Africa Women in Business Conference is open to women business owners and managers, women interested in business as well as credit providers, women business suppliers and also consumers of products and services produced by or managed by women.

Despite its exclusivity, this conference is open to any other interested parties- male- who champion women's participation in business.

Speakers

A host of prominent and inspiring personalities will be present to address participants. They have been carefully selected due to their expertise in the various commerce- related fields that have given women the opportunity to progress in business.

Activities

In order to involve all who will be present, a number of activities shall take place. These will be:

• Capacity Building Workshops, Plenary and Break- out sessions

• Women in Business Innovation and Excellence Awards

• Event launch cocktail

• Trade Fair and Exhibitions

Awards Ceremony

 

This, the icing on the cake, will provide the opportunity to fully appreciate the efforts of women in business, literally, by handing out awards. It is also an opportunity to encourage and motivate women/ girls still climbing the business ladder to tread on.

Awards will be in the form of trophies and certificates after carefully selecting the worthy recipients.

Food & Entertainment

Participants and guests will be provided with food and drink as well as entertainment, which will take place during the breaks.
