The
Zambia Story ...
What an
amazing country! The ATA Congress was a Double
Header - and in my opinion a "Double Whammy" in
terms of excitement, anticipation and the surprise
factor! Both Lusaka and Livingstone lived up to
their advance billing as host cities; the
hospitality factor was outstanding, and we cannot
thank our hosts enough. ATA's North American and
African delegates experienced two great
destinations in one country - and like ourselves,
many stayed on to enjoy a variety of post congress
tours and safaris. Everyone was inspired by the
conference theme selected by Hon. Patrick
Kalifungwa, namely "Ethno-Tourism: A key to
sustainable development and job creation. One of
the things that stood out was the quality of
displays at the Trade Show with such a wide
selection of quality operators of camps, reserves
and facilities throughout the country. We had the
opportunity of visiting only a small sample of what
was so readily available. I was very impressed and
I am certain my ATA colleagues share the same
feelings. See
the results of our great affair with Zambia in this
exclusive Annual Edition!
